The College Network has created a compilation of Comprehensive Learning Modules that teaches students the knowledge and skills needed to pass college equivalency exams such as CLEP, DSST, and the Excelsior College Exam. After completing the instructions given students may take these exams, and those with passing grades can then use those tests to apply REAL college credits towards the Excelsior College associate degree in nursing program. Graduates of the program can walk away with a degree that is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
Step by Step LPN to ASN/ADN
Step 1 Request your free information packet by contacting The College Network directly. If you are satisfied with the information you receive, you will then enroll with the College Network and begin your education.
Step 2 Complete the Comprehensive Learning Modules given by the College Network and then complete the practice exam provided.
Step 3 Take and pass the official college equivalency exams.
Step 4 Enroll with Excelsior College.
Step 5 Take and complete the FCCA, Focused Clinical Competencies Assessment. This is an online, simulated clinical that assesses the student’s ability to perform head-to-toe assessments, manage multiple patients, and the student’s interaction with an interdisciplinary health care team.
Step 6 Complete and pass your clinicals. Excelsior College provides you with the instruction you need, and all you have to do is learn from that instruction.
Step 7 Graduation!! Graduation from the Associates of Science in Nursing is an accomplishment that few are privileged to receive.
Step 8 Take and pass the State Board Exams. With the help from Excelsior College, you will be able to sit for the exams. After completion, you will be rewarded with a degree in nursing that will solidify your future in nursing and place you firmly into a career in medicine that will reward you until retirement.
